Sandra Skipper

Church Secretary 

Sandra "Sandy" Skipper came to Ash Street Baptist Church in August 1973 as Church Secretary, a position she currently holds.   She accepted Jesus Christ and has been an active member of the church for the past 47 years.  Before coming to Ash Street, Sandy worked for Barge-Thompson Construction as secretary for six years.  She also worked for the United States Governement in Japan for one year after graduation from Yokohama High School before returning to the States.

Sandy has a daughter & son-in-law, Sheryl & Fred Phillips and a son & daughter-in-law, Scott & Winn Skipper and four grandchildren, Eric Phillips, Garet, Sally & Molly Skipper.

We thank God for Sandy's continued ministry in the office of Ash Street Baptist Church.

Marion Cherry

Financial Administrator/Pastor's Secretary

Marion Cherry came to us from the banking business as Financial and Pastor's Secretary in May 2001.  Marion accepted Christ at the age of ten in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Eastdale Baptist Church.  She and her husband, John, joined Ash Street Baptist Church in 1977. They have 4 children & 11 grandchildren.
